- Night: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Process Assistant to support our electroplating operations. This hands-on role involves monitoring and controlling waste treatment equipment, handling bulk chemical additions, and pumping tanks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an industrial environment and adaptable to a rotating shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pump and clean process tanks as required
- Perform manual additions of bulk chemicals
- Monitor, operate, and control waste treatment systems and related equipment
- Assist with regular maintenance and inspection of treatment systems
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Accurately record data related to chemical usage and system performance
- Communicate any issues or irregularities to the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in chemical handling, wastewater treatment, or electroplating is an asset
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines
- Comfortable working with chemicals and in industrial environments
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
