CNC Operator – Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturing

About Us

We are a growing kitchen cabinet manufacturing company specializing in high-quality custom cabinetry. We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator with a strong woodworking background to join our production team. Responsibilities

  • Operate 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC routers to cut and machine cabinet components.
  • Set up CNC machines, tooling, and materials for production.
  • Program and adjust CNC machines to meet production requirements.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
  • Work with MDF, plywood, melamine, solid wood, and other cabinet materials.
  • Load and unload materials while ensuring proper handling.
  • Monitor machine performance and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of CNC operating experience in a woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or furniture manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC routers.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, machine setup, tooling, and calibration.
  • Experience with Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, WoodWOP, BiesseWorks, Mastercam, or similar CNC programming software.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking materials and cabinet manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot CNC machine issues.
  • Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • CNC or woodworking-related education or certification is considered an asset.
