Machine Loader / CNC Operator

Location: Keele St & Langstaff Rd

 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Machine Loader / CNC Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will primarily work in the metal department, using hand and power tools, and should also have basic computer literacy to operate the CNC wood machine. Experience with forklift operation is considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load materials into machines and assist in operation
• Use hand and power tools to prepare or finish metal components
• Operate or assist with the CNC wood machine (training provided if needed)
• Perform quality checks and ensure work meets specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Follow production schedules and report any issues to the supervisor
• Assist with other general tasks as needed in the shop
  

Qualifications:

• Experience with hand and power tools (metalwork preferred)
• Basic computer skills (required for CNC machine interface)
• CNC machine experience is an asset (especially woodworking)
• Experience with forklift operation is considered a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to lift materials as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
