Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Railing Installer with a background in woodworking to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing railings and working with wood materials, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install different types of railings, including wood, metal, glass, and composite materials
- Measure, cut, and fit railing components accurately
- Ensure installations comply with safety codes and quality standards
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or site plans for precise installations
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites using a personal vehicle or van
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Follow safety protocols on all job sites
Qualifications:
- Proven experience installing a variety of railing types (wood, metal, glass, composite)
- Strong woodworking skills and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a van or personal vehicle
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is an asset
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or within a team
- Physically capable of performing manual labor and working on-site
