Job Overview:
We are looking for an organized and proactive Dispatcher to coordinate daily food deliveries to childcare centers. In this key role, you will ensure deliveries run smoothly and on time by serving as the main communication link between drivers and the operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily food deliveries to multiple childcare centers
- Communicate effectively with drivers to monitor routes and resolve any issues
- Track delivery progress and provide timely updates to the team regarding delays or concerns
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to ensure timely loading of deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and driver logs
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer or driver inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatching or logistics coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable using scheduling software and communication tools
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
