Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing, assembling, and finishing interior components such as doors, MDF mouldings, casing systems, and related millwork products in a shop environment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, quality-focused, and comfortable working with woodworking tools and production processes.
Responsibilities
- Cut, prepare, and assemble MDF mouldings, door frames, and interior finishing components
- Operate basic woodworking machinery and hand/power tools safely and accurately
- Follow production drawings, cut lists, and work orders
- Perform quality checks on finished products before shipment
- Assist in packaging and preparing materials for delivery
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop environment
- Support production flow and meet daily/weekly output targets
- Report material or equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in woodworking, manufacturing
- Ability to use measuring tools with accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a production/shop environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team setting
- Physically able to lift materials and stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of woodworking tools and equipment is an asset
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
